Oh My......

Have you ever had a moment when you say Oh My.....In 2010 I had several moments like that. I changed my diet. This being said when people ask me what I eat I tell them unfortunately they hardly ever believe me but if you looked in my fridge and cupboards you would see I speak the truth! I switched from skim milk to  organic whole milk! Low-fat yogurt to organic whole yogurt! From store bought eggs to free range organic farm egg! These are just a few of the things I tried! Switching to organic foods I took back the kitchen and lost the weight! Get fit in the gym! Lose weight in the kitchen!>(Not sure where that quote came from but I love it)!!!!!!

Soooooooo......It goes like this.........

Losing weight is hard work. If you have ever struggled with it you understand where I am coming from. I have gained and lost weight over the years. So this time I changed the food I was eating. I watched some really amazing videos that changed the way I saw food. I will try to link these a bit later! Reading labels, ingredient list and cutting out fast food items (they are really bad for you)were simple things to do! I started eating mostly organic or natural based foods and started cooking real foods the whole foods idea really works for me. More info on cooking for real eating a bit later. I even gave up my favorite diet soda this step was really hard but it had to be done. These are a few simple things I did in 2010 to lose weight...Like I said in 2010 I lost about 50 pounds. To me that statement alone is simply overwhelming!!!

A little about me......

My name is Jen.....My story goes like this......
In 2009 I was obese. . I wanted a change but how was I to make a change? I had no idea where to start. So on Jan 13th 2010 I made a choice to trade my weight for peace.
In 2010 I made a change that has forever changed my in the best way possible! I decided to change the way I was living and eating.  I will confess that to start this journey I joined at weight loss program because I did not know how to lose weight and it was overwhelming. I tried the program for about 3 months and then said I can do this!!!!!! I lost about 50 in this year. I felt better inside and out! At this point in my life I was not doing any sort of exercise. I did not know how! I did start with portion control! What a simple way to change your world!
